Mark Allum

I’m Mark, Co-Founder and Director of Hideaway Garden Rooms, a Surrey-based company specialising in the design and construction of premium, fully insulated garden rooms and annexes for year-round use.

With a background in finance and commercial operations, I oversee the end-to-end delivery of our projects - from early design and planning advice through to build quality, compliance and customer experience. I work closely with homeowners across Surrey, South West London, Berkshire, Sussex and Hampshire who are investing in their homes with high-quality garden offices, gyms, studios and self-contained garden annexes.

At Hideaway, we focus on doing things properly: high-performance insulation, durable cladding systems, professional foundations, clear communication and a well-managed build process. Many of our projects involve more complex requirements such as planning permission, plumbing, bathrooms and annex-style accommodation, and I regularly advise clients on feasibility, regulations and long-term value.
