Steven Hawkins

I’m Steve, a Garden Room Consultant and Client Relationship Manager at Hideaway Garden Rooms, where I help homeowners across Surrey and the surrounding areas plan and price premium garden rooms tailored to their homes and lifestyles.

My role is to guide clients from initial enquiry through to final specification, helping them choose the right size, layout, cladding, glazing and internal finishes for garden offices, home gyms, studios and fully functional garden annexes. I regularly carry out site visits, advise on design options, explain pricing clearly and support clients through planning considerations where required.

What I enjoy most is helping people visualise how a well-designed garden room can genuinely transform the way they use their home - whether that’s creating a quiet, professional home office, a private gym, a creative studio or additional living space for family members.

I work closely with our design and build teams to ensure what’s discussed at survey stage is delivered on site, and I pride myself on being approachable, knowledgeable and straightforward. Through Hideaway’s blog and project updates, I share insights into layouts, costs, specifications and real-world considerations to help homeowners feel confident before committing to a build.
